Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Cigars
Those who are familiar with the Rocky Patel line of cigars know the high grade mix of tobacco and wrappers this company uses for its vintage brand of cigars. The Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 is no different. Sit down peacefully and inhale some of the rich smoke of this Nicaraguan rolled cigar which boasts of a 1999 Connecticut wrapper. You’ll immediately feel the rich flavors caressing your palate… and why not?
This cigar also boasts of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers along with a Nicaraguan binder, all of them aged 7 years. There is a small difference you will find between the 1990 and 1992 brands of this lineage. This particular brand is not square pressed and boasts a white and gold band. The wrapper is smooth and has small veins and a mild oily sheen compliments the light brown colored Connecticut wrapper. This cigar is quite firm and has hardly any spring and this can be determined by pinching it.
Despite being so firm, the draw that this cigar provides is excellent and will amaze those who are smoking it for the first time. Light one and relax. You will observe that the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut produces lots of flavored and thick smoke. The first puff, or the base flavor, feels like that of classical cigars that are Connecticut wrapped. Puff on it a bit more and you’ll feel the flavor changing to buttery and toasty. The finish is even creamier… all in all, an excellent cigar.
